Who is?
Peter Blackman began his career in advertising, trying to help sell everything from Chicken Tonight to De Beers diamonds. Over the course of ten years in Soho, he made some good friends but a lot more enemies. He worked on, amongst others, the National Lottery, Sky TV, BMW, Kit Kat, and many, many more! (add starburst here). In 2005, he launched his own advertising consultancy, which allowed him to appoint himself creative director and become a copywriter. In 2010 he founded the creative ideas agency Double Art with Damian Connop and Sarah Powell.
Married with two daughters, he enjoys (but no longer plays) cricket and rugby. He rides mountain bikes and motorcycles. He goes to the theatre, art galleries, and a lot of dinner parties. He writes this blog, tweets incessantly as @freethinkeruk and occasionally features in regional and national UK newspapers. His last contribution was under the pseudonym ‘Cliff’ in a piece about ‘Yummy Daddys’. Crucially there was no accompanying photograph.
He cycles into work everyday - and frequently falls off.
