When you’re a devoted reader of a magazine it’s always rather wonderful to have a letter published in their pages.

So I was pleasantly surprised when a letter I sent to Private Eye made it into their issue no. 1252

Of course I never thought that I’d be writing to them about the issues facing UK paediatric pathology, but there you are!

Anything that helps raise the issue, and in so doing, brings people, albeit circuitously around to my fund raising is, as far as I am concerned at the moment, a good thing.

I just hope that the next time I get published in the ‘Eye, it’s for humorous reasons!
